Epileptic seizures are caused when electrical impulses hit the brain in an abnormal matter, while pseudoseizures are caused when the brain is placed under too much stress. CBD is a compound that is found in cannabis, and it greatly benefits people who suffer from seizures, namely epileptic ones. The compound causes the muscles to relax and basically operates in a manner to reduce convulsions. It is natural and works on the brain by taking excess pressure off of it.

CBD and other compounds in medical marijuana are a direct threat to the hold that major pharmaceutical companies have on the marketplace. If cannabis was commonly used to control seizures and other illnesses, pharmaceutical companies could easily be put out of business. There are people that believe westernized medicine can handle their well-being and health and is more concerned with that than making money. Alas, that is not true.
